5-MILE RADIUS / MEDELLÍN
Loading aerial photography…
At the home: 46 cm source imagery · Jan 2025. Detail loads as you explore.
The ground uses Esri World Imagery, streamed at increasing detail as you approach any location within a five-mile radius of Catay 7 (8.05 km in every direction). Tiles load on demand, with lower-resolution imagery remaining underneath while finer detail arrives.
Source resolution: imagery metadata at the home identifies Vantor Vivid Advanced / GeoEye-1 photography captured January 29, 2025, with a native resolution of approximately 46 cm per pixel. We use up to zoom 19, the highest verified available tile level here. Zooming farther enlarges the same photographic detail; it does not reveal new details. Dates, resolution and availability can vary elsewhere in the region. Maximum display quality improves rendering, not the source photography.
The Google links open the current location in Google Maps or Street View in a separate tab, where available. Google photography is not embedded in this scene.
3D coverage: roads and building footprints come from OpenStreetMap, retrieved October 3, 2026, and cover the original approximately 1.7 × 1.5 km area near the home. The larger five-mile area adds aerial photography, not additional modeled buildings. Aerial mode hides modeled buildings so the photographs remain visible.
Catay 7: its footprint follows the mapped outline. Brick, balconies, window bands and landscaping are an approximate reconstruction informed by July 2024 Street View and a December 2017 exterior photo. Its estimated 12 floors / 37.2 m and details hidden from those views are not measured. Other building heights use mapped height or floor counts where available; otherwise heights and façades are estimated.
Terrain is flat in this version; Medellín's slopes are not reconstructed. Tall buildings may lean in the aerial photography. This is an explorable map reconstruction, not a photogrammetric scan or a complete street-level digital twin.
Catay 7 is marked at 6.20463, −75.56594. Enter residence returns to the existing apartment reconstruction. Aerial images do not provide interior detail.
In Aerial mode, drag to pan and scroll or pinch to zoom. “See all 5 miles” shows the region; select a location on the minimap to move there and zoom in. In Fly / Walk, drag to look, use WASD or arrows to move, Q/E to change altitude, and Shift to move faster. Touch movement buttons are also available. Walk mode blocks mapped buildings only.
